Closure is a short film in which a girl recovering from a breakup finds liberation through her artwork.
Behind the scenes...
We shot the film on a Canon T2i using a Sigma 30mm f/1.4 lens, and a Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens. Camera equipment we used included a Flycam 3000, a (rather flimsy) DIY slider, a 12-foot DIY crane, a DIY Fig-Rig, and even a small boat. To light the film, we used two Camtree 1000watt LED light panels, two 600 watt lights with umbrella reflectors, a 350watt spotlight, and last-but-not-least, the sun. For recording audio, we used a Rode VideoMic, as well as a Zoom H1 Handy Recorder. In Post-production, we used a 2010 Mac Pro and a 2009 iMac. We edited the film with Adobe Premiere Pro, created the visual effects with Adobe After Effects (with 3rd party plugins from Red Giant) and Mocha Pro, and composed the music score with Apple's Logic Pro.
