You will be challenged to rise above the ordinary

Your role will be responsible for providing technical and operational process support for the campus, along with;

  • Assist in developing appropriate scopes of works and contract documentation to allow contracts to be tendered.
  • Assist to maintain an asset register of all plant and equipment.
  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships
  • Instruct/advise contractors on RØDE site inductions prior to visits
  • Follow up with suppliers to obtain quotes for services
  • Coordination between supplier and RØDE for works to occur on sites
  • Manage service reports from suppliers
  • Order parts & follow up suppliers
  • Maintain maintenance files, plant service schedule, warranty claims, machinery manual library, etc.
  • Manage site/s consumables (stock take & reorder)
  • Site facilities administration (building inspections, signage, organise repairs, etc.)
  • Administration support (Phones, email, data entry, minute taking, assist with additional general admin. duties as required)
  • File various site inspections & records 

The tools you bring will be enhanced by our Technology

To be considered for the position, you will have proven administrative experience with Building/Assets Facilities Management with excellent presentation and communication skills. The successful candidate will also need to display the following qualities;

  • Previous experience in building services or facilities management
  • Excellent organisational skills, multitask and manage a high volume of work
  • Demonstrated knowledge of company structure, systems and processes
  • Exceptional customer and supplier management skills
  • Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills including the ability to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, performance driven, flexible and adaptable
  • Reliable work ethic and willingness to develop themselves professionally
  • Strong computer systems skills including Microsoft Suite and other programs associated with Facilities Management
  • Competent across WHS, QA and ideally environmental legislation and systems.
  • Familiarity with the operation of Services (plumbing, fire, electrical etc.) and services delivery.
  • High level written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on analysis and strategic planning and succinct reporting and recommendations.
  • Ability in financial, budgeting, forecasting, business planning and contract monitoring.
  • High level in analysis, evaluation and recommendation processes.
  • Confidence to take independent decisions but with the judgement to take advice when required.
