Like so many others on the planet, I previously purchased an NT1-A, marvelling at how a microphone could have such a low self-noise. Incredibly, we now have an even quieter microphone in the NT1.
I'm a big AKG and Neumann user and believer but when it comes to dslrs @rodemicrophones beat all of them to the finish line.#rodevideomicpro

There are other portable mics and field recording apps out there, but this combination raises the bar considerably and deserves a hard look if you’re serious about this stuff.

I LOVE my NTG3 for recording voice-over auditions at home... It has become my go-to mic for all my VO audition demos, above and beyond my cardioid condenser mics and my SM7B dynamic. Rich, full sound, crisp clarity, off axis cancellation. Perfection. Cheers RØDE, you made a fan out of me!

I’m onto my 3rd Podcaster and it’s the best thing that has happened to me in 35 years as announcer at the Seven network. I have a spare at the office and one that travels with me everywhere. Interstate, overseas... EVERYWHERE!

I tip my hat to you for making the NT1-A. I find it neither warm nor cold, but true to what my ears hear when set up for stereo. Well done!

Might I say we have a number or Rode mics here at the School of Music and I have been impressed with the quality particularly in light of their price and I have passed these recommendations on to my students.

Love the mic. I’ve done A-B with other leading brands. The classic adds a warmth a breathes life into the vocal. Beautiful. I don’t want to sing through anything else.

I've also been using the NT5s religiously for micing amps and acoustic instruments (guitar, banjo, etc.). I have definitely noticed, not only a big jump in the richness of the tracks recorded, but also I don't need to effect the sound nearly as much once recorded.

I wasn’t really surprised with the quality – clear sound, wide dynamic range, impressive stereo separation and low background noise – traditional RØDE hallmarks
