We now have an opportunity for a Head of Video Production to manage and lead the video production team, driving both video content and also team dynamics and development.

You will be challenged to rise above the ordinary

  • To manage and lead the video production team, to drive both video content and also team dynamics and development
  • To be a key strategic member of the marketing leadership team, able to contribute to marketing strategy and align video strategy to the wider business objectives
  • To produce high-quality video content, optimising for audience engagement and commercial outcomes
  • To manage the video content calendar, ensuring all content is produced on time and on budget
  • To coach and develop the video production team to improve quality, diversity and innovation of content

The tools you bring will be enhanced by our Technology

  • Top-notch filmmaking skills, including cinematography, colouring, editing and sound
  • Production skills, including planning, budgeting, talent management and location scouting
  • Familiar with a wide variety of filmmaking equipment, with a focus on DSLR techniques
  • Intimate understanding of commercial filmmaking, including success factors such as engagement, recall, sales uplift and ROI
  • Understanding of social media content trends and how to leverage them to deliver audience engagement
  • 10+ years proven track record of producing high-quality, commercially successful film and video content
  • Experience of formats including 360 degree, VR, audio only / podcasting, live streaming and interactive a definite advantage
  • Successfully driving engagement and audience on social media with video content
  • Experience managing teams, motivating and developing people
  • Engagement with wider content and marketing strategies
  • Experience of working in a corporate production environment an advantage
  • People management, including skills/career development and day to day HR management
